Seasonal
By: Abe Sierra Jr.
It’s happening again
You already know the drill
It’s that time of year —
When the sun shines
But just a little dimmer
Birds still sing
But their melodies are a bit out of tune
That time of the year —
When night skies glimmer
But the constellations seem much further
than last night
And Although trees still show off their colors
The tint appears a little faded this time
It’s that time of year
Yea, it’s happening again
But it’s ok, my friend —
It’s only seasonal.
